Problem

The README Quickstart says pip install plotly, but its px.bar example then fails in a fresh environment:

  • ImportError without numpy
  • NotImplementedError: Pandas installation is required if no dataframe is provided. without pandas

Changes

  • Update the install line to pip install "plotly[express]" pandas, as the Getting Started page suggests
  • Add CHANGELOG entry

Verification

  • Documentation-only change; no code paths affected

…] and pandas

The README Quickstart said 'pip install plotly' but the px.bar example
requires numpy and pandas which are not installed by default. Update
the install line to 'pip install "plotly[express]" pandas' as suggested
by the Getting Started page.

Fixes plotly#5790

Thanks for the PR! We decided to go in a different direction for this update, so I'm closing this in favor of #5804.
